The MYP Grade 10 Personal Project Showcase took place in the MUHS gymnasium on March 4, 2020.
This event was an opportunity for sophomores to showcase their projects, which they began working on in the spring of 9th grade.
The Personal Project is an opportunity for students in the final year of the IB Middle Years Program (MYP) to demonstrate the skills they have practiced during the entire course of their MYP experience. These include: self & time management skills, critical & creative thinking skills, social skills, communication skills, research skills, and reflection skills.
Topics at this year's showcase ranged from 3-D printing and making computers from scratch to local food systems research and cupcake baking to animal training, therapy dogs and baking dog treats to rasie money for animal rescue organizations.
