April 10, 2021 - Mary Hogan School

Dear Mary Hogan School Community,

Today, we were notified that a member of the Mary Hogan School community tested positive for COVID-19. The team from Mary Hogan and ACSD has been working with the Vermont Department of Health on contact tracing.

We have notified and spoken with all close contacts at this point.  If you have not heard from school, then you/your child are not a close contact of the person who tested positive. As you know, we cannot share who tested positive because of medical privacy laws.

COVID-19 symptoms include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and diarrhea. Staff as well as parents/guardians of students exhibiting symptoms are asked to contact their primary care physician and Nurse Becky. For more information about COVID-19 and contact tracing, please refer to the COVID-19 page from the Vermont Department of Health. As always, the health and safety of our students, staff, and families is our top priority.

If you have questions about our protocols and how we are moving through this positive case, please read our ACSD COVID-19 Action Guide. All information about positive cases within ACSD can be found on the ACSD COVID-19 Dashboard.

Please hold the person affected in your thoughts during this time. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
