COVID SAFETY PLAN Our community has done an incredible job caring for each other since COVID began. Our primary goal is to prevent COVID from entering our buildings, and if it does, to minimize its spread. We encourage you to read the full Health and Safety Guidelines which provide comprehensive guidance on infection control strategies in ACSD schools as we begin the new school year. Please note that any portion of the guidance may change as COVID evolves. These changes will always be communicated to our school community in a timely manner. Here are the most important things to know for your child's first day of school:
Staff and students must stay home if they have COVID related symptoms, have been diagnosed with COVID, or have been told to quarantine by a healthcare provider or health department
Masks will be required while indoors for all students and staff until conditions improve. Like all of you, we had hoped our vaccination rates would mean new masking guidelines. However, we must prioritize the health and safety of our entire ACSD community. We will update the community immediately if guidelines change.
Visitors, including family members, are not allowed in school buildings at this time. We strongly encourage parent masks at pick up.
MUHS will host Pfizer vaccine clinics on 8/27, 9/17, and 10/08. All are welcome. These will be 9am-5pm in the school gym. Vaccines remain free. Additional vaccination locations can be found here.
OUR MISSION is to provide an innovative, rigorous, and supportive educational community that inspires a passion for learning and cultivates empathy and responsibility.
