It’s been a busy vaccination week as the state has opened up clinics to students aged 12-15 across Vermont. This is great news for our community. Look for more information in the health and safety update today on the many options available to families.
We are hearing that the Agency of Education is in the process of preparing new health and safety guidance for schools for the 21-22 school year, to be released in early June. With our health and safety data improving throughout the state, it’s likely that this guidance will look quite different from what we’ve been operating under over the last 16 months. It sounds like we’ll have a better picture of what next year looks like long before we did this past summer, which will be very helpful in our planning to start next year strong.
With sunny weather forecast for the weeks ahead, staff and students in our schools are maximizing outdoor learning over the last 4½ weeks of the school year, and final planning is taking place as we come together as a community to recognize our students in end-of-year celebrations throughout ACSD!
