Community Partnership Council

Dear ACSU Community Members,

We'd like to invite you to be a part of a new community council in Addison Central! As part of the ACSU Strategic Plan completed in the spring of 2015, the creation of a Community Partnership Council was proposed to  “act as a sounding board and help to develop a range of resources to support initiatives designed to improve outcomes for all students.”

The Council, facilitated by the Superintendent and Community Partnership Council Coordinator, will have 11 at-large members -- 6 community members, 3 educators (1 principal to be appointed by the superintendent, 2 teachers from different levels), and 3 high school students. The Council terms (renewable once) will be 5 one-year and 6 two-year terms initially, followed by rolling two-year terms.  The Council will meet regularly once a month.

The Council will be a critical voice in both continuing our deep community involvement in our schools as well as growing our collaboration and connectedness as a learning community. To apply, please go to or visit our Central Office in Middlebury at 49 Charles Ave.
