My name is Elizabeth Foster, but I go by Lili.  I grew up in Shelburne, Vermont.  After graduating from University of Vermont with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, I moved to California. While living in California, I taught 4-6 grade at Mira Vista School in Richmond. My husband and I returned to Vermont in 1991, to raise our family. I have two sons who graduated from Middlebury Union High School. This is my 31st year teaching at Salisbury Community School. After 30 years as a classroom teacher, I am now a  Learning Specialist for K-5 grade. I am Nationally Board Certified in Literacy and Language Arts and am currently working on becoming a certified Orton-Gillingham reading instructor. In my free time I like to play tennis, bike, run and spend time outdoors with my family and golden retriever, Athena.
