A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
MY HOMETOWN: I was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Middlebury, Vermont when I was six months old! This makes me 6 months shy of being a native Vermonter!
MY EDUCATION: I attended Mary Hogan Elementary School and graduated from Middlebury Union High School. After high school I attended Saint Lawrence University in Canton, New York.
MY CAREER: My first paying job was babysitting (as a kid) but I don’t normally put that on my resume. I started paying taxes after getting a job at the local IGA. After college I worked at Lazarus Department Store, followed by a career position at the National Bank of Middlebury. I was proud when the town of Cornwall elected me town treasurer. My first job in education was at Beeman Elementary School and then I finally returned to Mary Hogan School. I was surprised and excited to find my FIRST GRADE TEACHER, Mrs. Doyle, was still working here!
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: My husband and I own a 90 acre sugarbush so my second job is making over three thousand gallons of maple syrup each year. I also enjoy walking, hiking with my daughter and scrapbooking.
MY FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL WAS: Math!
