A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:

MY HOMETOWN: I grew up in the rolling Champlain Valley in Vergennes, Vermont.

MY EDUCATION:  After graduating from Vergennes High School I attended the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, Connecticut. I received both my Bachelors and Masters in Elementary and Special Education there.

MY CAREER: I have worked with kids my whole life. I have taught in fourteen different schools and four different summer camps. The only non-school jobs I have held are working in a mailroom, a greenhouse and a strawberry field. Those jobs were fleeting, as I was super busy pursuing my passion for educating.

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL:  My family unit consists of my fantastic husband, vibrant daughter and bold son, two furry cats and a fast dog. We recently became host parents to two field-raised Monarch Butterflies who were with us just a short time before heading off on a global adventure.
