Welcome to the 2020-21 school year - a different kind of school year to be sure!  I would love to say that the library is fully open but that's not the case.  We are operating under strict guidelines in an effort to provide a safe, clean space.  Students may borrow books from the library, but regular browsing is not allowed.  Any book that is touched must be checked out or quarantined.  All circulated books will be quarantined for one week and then placed back on the shelves.  We're all hoping that these restrictions will relax as time goes by.  There are several ways to request books, including coming to the library, sending an email (msutton@acsdvt.org), using the google form posted below, or simply clicking on the request button underneath each book in the catalog.  This is a new feature for us and I think it will work well. Check out this tech guide for more info.

Please let me know if you have any questions. It's nice to be back!

The library is located in the heart of our school and hosts a comprehensive collection of print materials. Students also have access to a broad array of digital resources through the Vermont Online Library. The library is staffed by Megan Sutton, a Vermont certified School Library Media Specialist with an MAT in Teaching with Technology, and library assistant Nancy Velez.  The library program includes classes, informal visits and classroom support in all areas of the curriculum.  Contact Megan for more information.
