This year I'm teaching DP1 Biology and DP 2 Biology. I also serve as the IB Creativity, Activity, Service Coordinator and help coach the MUHS Nordic Ski Team.
Teaching respresents a return to my true passion after working for the past twelve years in development and fundraising for a number of schools and nonprofit organizations. Although I'm new to MUHS, my background includes several years of teaching college level biology and physiology while earning a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M University. I also worked for several years as a Cardiovascular Postdoctoral Fellow within the Pharmacology Department at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. I’m excited to bring my experiences from frontline research and higher ed to the high school classroom.
I live in Middlebury, with my wife, two sons and two dogs. When I'm not teaching you will find me outside, running, biking and nordic skiing.
