A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:

MY HOMETOWN:  I grew up in Panton, Vermont

MY EDUCATION:  I attended Vergennes High School and went on to get my undergraduate degree at the University of Northern Florida. I received my Master’s degree in Reading from the University of Western Florida.

MY CAREER:  I taught first grade in Jacksonville Beach, Florida and then utilized my teaching license to provide my three sons with a high-quality private education as we traveled with my husband, an armed services professional. I went back to public teaching as a long-term-substitute and then accepted a contract position at MHS in first grade.

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL:  I have a big car to haul my three sons around. My husband and I both grew up here and are happy to finally call Vermont "HOME" again after 25 years of a full Navy career. 

MY FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL WAS: (…and still is) Reading!
