A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:

MY HOMETOWN: I grew up in historic Rutland, Vermont. 

MY EDUCATION:  I graduated from Fairhaven Union High School and went on to earn my undergraduate teaching degree at Castleton University. I received my Masters in Special Education from the College of Saint Joseph.

MY CAREER:  My first job as a student was at my neighborhood McDonalds. After graduating, I opened a home-based daycare working with children. I loved that experience so much I went back to school to become a licensed teacher! I worked as a paraeducator for around 18 years and am now in my fourth year as a Special Educator. I love my job!

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL:  I think you would consider my family “pet people”. My husband and daughter help me care for two dogs, and a cat.  We love to travel in our free time. My favorite trip (so far) was the amazing adventure my husband and I shared in Hawaii!  This was definitely a “must-repeat” trip. This year was a close second when we went to Florida and rode a fan boat to see alligators. It was amazing! When I am not dreaming about sand, ocean and palm trees, I am going hiking, kayaking and reading books. I absolutely love to READ!
