Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics - STEM.  We haven't just changed the name of the class!  We've made some fundamental changes that I think everyone will appreciate.  Students will be presented, or better yet they can present their own, real world challenges.  There job will be to use the same Engineering and Design Process (EDP) taught in the science classes to come up with viable solutions.  Some of what we will focus on is team work and collaborative problem solving, communicating and accepting critique to acheive the best possible solution, and designing, building, and testing solutions until a final solution is achieved.  My goal is to involve the community as much as possible for problems we can help them with and feedback for our growth-mindset students.
