A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
MY HOMETOWN: My father was in the Air Force so we moved often. I lived in Ohio, Vermont, Arizona and Alabama in the United States and Panama in South America. The longest we lived anywhere was three years.
MY EDUCATION: When we lived in Panama I attended a Department of Defense School and later graduated from Randolph Union High School here in Vermont. I received my teaching degree at Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Virginia.
MY CAREER: I have had many various jobs over the years. I worked in a grocery when I was in high school and spent one entire summer in a plastic factory making air fresheners! I have also taught horseback riding for many years. A few years back, Christopher Reeve (Superman) left me a voicemail when I was away on my honeymoon asking for help at a horse show he was attending, I thought that was pretty neat!
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I married my high school sweetheart (he took me to prom how could I say “No”)? We have two half-grown sons who both love sports. I have three horses and enjoy riding them when I am not teaching. My dog Cooper and Cat Rascal round out our happy family.
MY FAVORITE SUBJECTS IN SCHOOL WERE: Language Arts
