    Drinks at School

Every student at MUMS is enrolled in a health class at one point or another during the school year. A significant component to the instruction in that class is nutrition. Part of this instruction includes discussion of healthy and unhealthy drinks. In order to help students practice making healthy choices we are asking that students not bring drinks like soda, energy drinks (coffee, latte, cappuccino, AMP, Monster, Red Bull etc.) or sports drinks (Gatorade, Powerade, Vitamin Water etc.) to school with them. Instead, we ask that students consume milk, 100% juice or water. MUMS has several water bottle filling stations and students are encouraged to bring a water bottle to school. Together we can help students establish healthy habits.
