I have been working at Middlebury Union High School for seven years. I teach Environmental Science, Biology / Chemistry, and Design, Build, Grow STEM course. I also run the school greenhouse and connect the work in the greenhouse to the three courses that I teach. Students learn the science of Botany and Horticulture, while learning to grow greens for the school cafeteria. The connections to the three pillars of sustainability, environmetal, social, and economic, are addressed as well as the importance of our local agricultural enterprises. 

I live in Charlotte, VT with my girlfriend and son. We run a farm called Paradiso Farm. We grow figs and roast micro-batch coffee under the name Paradiso Farm Coffee. When not teaching you will find me hanging with my family, riding my bike, working at the farm, working at farmers markets, and roasting coffee.
