From the moment I stepped into as classroom as an elementary student, I knew I was going to be a teacher. I loved everything about it and soon I had my own "classroom" set up in my bedroom where I would teach my "students". When asked as a child what I was going to be when I grew up, there was no doubt in my mind. So after growing up in central Maine and attending college at the University of Maine in Orono, I moved to Vermont in 1994 to begin my career as an educator.  I currently live in Cornwall with my husband Brad and son Ryan. I enjoy hiking, reading, gardening, cooking and anything to do with Alaska.
