Hello, I'm Ms. Collette. I teach as the Learning Specialist on the Mosaic Team. 

A native of Bristol, Vermont, I received my undergraduate in Film from Emerson College and stayed in Boston working in that field for the next ten years before returning to Vermont and starting a family here. I later did my Masters of Education in Special Education at the University of Vermont. 

For the past eighteen years I have lived in the same old farmhouse in Monkton, where I am raising my two sons, Foster and George. Despite-- or maybe because of-- the fact that one is a tween and the other a full fledged teenager, we usually have a really good time. I enjoy reading, writing and making art- just for fun. Love my friends, coffee and music. I ski all I can in the winter, and play field hockey and practice yoga year round. In the summer my favorite times are spent with family and friends at my parents' place on Lake Champlain.

I feel fortunate to have a job which I love, teaching middle school. I look forward to each new year, learning and growing with my students.
