Hi, I'm Krista Desabrais. This is my 10th year working at Shoreham Elementary School.  I started out as a paraprofessional then became the fifth grade teacher.  I currently teach third grade.  I have lived in Vermont since I was five when my family moved here from South Carolina.  The furthest I have moved away was to Boston, MA to go to college.  I came back to teach in Vermont, Boston was a fun place to go to school but not the place for me to raise a family!  Currently my husband, two daughters and son live in Brandon, Vermont.  I enjoy taking pictures and scrapbooking.  Each of my kids has a scrapbook I have begun of memories of things we enjoy doing.  I love reading!  In the summer when I'm not teaching we spend time swimming, camping and doing a variety of other family based activities.  I have always had a love for kids and watching them grow and develop.  My passion is sharing with their young brains and discovering new things.
