I am Salisbury Community School's First Grade teacher.  I have lived in Salisbury for most of my adult life, and have had the pleasure of teaching at our school since 2008. Learning about the backyard birds of Salisbury with my students has become a favorite pastime. Identifying birds at the feeders has been a motivating experience that always leads to many meaningful educational experiences. I enjoy helping students make connections to the outdoor world, and often use nature as an inspiration for units of study.
