Welcome to the team in C-3!  

Can you believe that your child will be a 1st grader?  There are so many amazing things that happen in our world of learning.  We continue to learn how to work together, make friends, and solve problems.  Children learn to read and write more and might even become faster in math thinking than adults!  

 A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:

MY HOMETOWN:  I was raised up the road in Addison, Vermont.

MY EDUCATION: I graduated from Vergennes Union High School and then went on to get my degree in Education between West Virginia Wesleyan College and UVM. I received my Masters through the Vermont Science Initiative at Castleton University.

MY CAREER: I have accumulated a broad primary years teaching portfolio during my rewarding career in education. I have taught fifth/six grades at Shoreham, fifth/six grades at Leicester and have taught both first and second grades here at Mary Hogan School.

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I grew up on a dairy farm where I learned the lesson of working hard. I am lucky enough to work for the same employer as my husband who has been both the S.T.E.M. teacher and a 5th Grade Teacher here at Mary Hogan School. We have three active daughters who keep us on our toes!  My life-long dream is to own a pet KANGAROO!
