A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
MY HOMETOWN: I grew up in Vermont in a small mountain town in the NorthEast Kingdom, East Burke. I lived there for most of my childhood years and spent my teenage years living in Stowe. After high school, I lived in Milford, Pennsylvania for several years before deciding I wanted to come back to Vermont to further my education and pursue a career here.
MY EDUCATION: I graduated from University of Vermont with a degree in Psychological Science with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I then pursued my Masters of Science in School Counseling, also at UVM.
MY CAREER: While earning my Masters Degree, I worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Human Development and Family Studies department. During that time, I was also a School Counseling Intern at Stowe Middle and High School and was promoted Student Assistance Counselor. After graduating, I worked for a year as School Counselor and Mentor Program Coordinator at Beeman Elementary School in New Haven before partnering with Mary Hogan School community.
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I am very active and enjoy time spent outdoors. In my free time, I am going on nature walks, foraging, hiking, and snowboarding. I also thoroughly enjoy yoga and pilates and the practice of mindfulness not only in my workouts but also in my daily life.
MY FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL WAS: English Language Arts, due to my love of reading and writing.
