SARAH INGERSOLL
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
MY HOMETOWN: I grew up in Historic Baltimore, Maryland
MY EDUCATION: I went to an all-girls-school in Baltimore before going on to Bates College in Lewiston, Maine where I studied Art and French. Most recently I attended Middlebury College graduating from the French School in 1995. I received my educator’s license from the University of Vermont.
MY CAREER: I taught French to middle school and high school students for ten years before moving into elementary education. Since I love cooking, the outdoors, and Canada, I also spent summers from 2006-2018 managing the kitchen at Camp Keewaydin, a canoe tripping camp in northern Ontario.
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I have two daughters, one a French teacher in Connecticut, and the other a college student in Maine. With both children out of the house, my husband and I now spend lots of time with our medium-sized dog, who gets plenty of walks, and our three poorly-behaved cats, who get plenty of cat kibble!
MY FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL WAS: French and Art
