  • DISMISSAL

  • *** Early Release Wednesdays:  10/5, 11/9, 12/7, 2/1, 3/8, 4/5, 5/3 ***

    • Preschool Students will be outside the front of the school at dismissal time.  Please arrive on time; this is a tight pick-up window because our buses need access to the front circle at 2:30.

    • K-2 (and older sibling) pick-ups will be at the front sidewalk parallel to the A-Wing between the swings (grade 2) and the stop sign (K).  Classes will remain together.
    • Car pick-ups will occur at the front sidewalk parallel to the A-Wing.  Two lanes will be available to improve traffic flow.  A staff member will ask each driver who he/she is picking up, and the child(ren) will be brought to the car.  If the driver is not the parent/guardian, staff will check in with April or the classroom teacher.  Staff will provide traffic control.
    • If a parent/guardian wants to pick-up a child in person, he/she should walk from elsewhere, or walk after parking in either the north lot or at Memorial Sports Center.

    • Bus riders will be dismissed around 2:53 to make their way to the buses.
    • 3-5 pick-ups will be at the front sidewalk parallel to the A-Wing between the swings (grade 5) and the stop sign (grade 3).  Classes will remain together.

All vehicle drivers and passengers must be wearing facial coverings that conform to the guidance in the Mary Hogan Health and Safety Guidelines, and they must maintain 6’ distancing to the best of their ability

***It is VERY IMPORTANT that cars continue to move through the lanes at dismissal and do not park.  If you arrive prior to your child(ren)’s dismissal wave, you will not be allowed to wait as it will hinder the flow of traffic; staff will ask you to circle back around Court Street and get in line again.***
