My teaching journey began at Middlebury College where I studied Studio Art and Education. After college, I found my way to the Bay Area, where I taught in urban charter schools, an experience that in many ways has defined my beliefs as a teacher. I found that my passion was for teaching reading and went back to school to earn a Masters in literacy at the University of San Francisco.

Back in Vermont again, I am very excited to be part of the dynamic and thoughtful team here at Cornwall Elementary. Now a parent myself, I am committed to bringing out the best in each of my students and igniting the curiosity that each child brings to the classroom.
