A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME!

MY HOMETOWN:  I was born and raised in Connecticut and moved to Martha's Vineyard full-time at the age of 12 after spending most of my childhood summers enjoying the ocean.  I moved to Vermont in 1988.

MY EDUCATION: I graduated from Castleton State College with a BA in Education and Psychology and held a VT teaching license (K-6) for 20 years.

MY CAREER: I worked as a preschool teacher and spent many years providing oversight and support of Early Childhood programs working for the Rutland County Parent Child Center.  

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL:  My second husband and I have five grown children and a total of 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 2.5 years - 18 years!  

I love spending time with my family and some of my hobbies include:  swimming, camping, cooking and gardening.

MY FAVORITE SUBJECTS IN SCHOOL WERE:  Spelling and Language Arts
