A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
MY HOMETOWN: I grew up on the Upper West side of Manhatten. I spent most of my summers in Green River, Vermont in an old Jelly Mill my parents had converted into a summer home. When I was 18 my family moved to Marlboro, Vermont at the same time I went to college. I moved to Middlebury, Vermont shortly after college.
MY EDUCATION: I graduated from the Ethical Culture Fieldston School in the Bronx. I went on to attend Hamilton College in Clinton New York where I earned a BA in Creative Writing, concentrating on poetry! I earned a complimentary Minor in Biology!
MY CAREER: My first job was at a small garden nursery in Guilford, Vermont. When I moved to Middlebury I began working at RockyDale Gardens in Bristol, Vermont. My main job involved propagating plants, potting and retail sales. I shared this seasonal job with a position as a staffer at Addison COunty Humane Society. When my children were young I began to work at Mary Hogan School. Today I LOVE working in the library.
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: I love to read, write, garden and go for walks. I love spending time relaxing with my family!
MY FAVORITE SUBJECT(s) IN SCHOOL WERE: Math, Botany and Marine Science!
