A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
MY HOMETOWN: I was born and brought up in Greenwich, Connecticut. I came to Vermont in the early 70’s to attend college, met my husband and stayed!
I have lived in Brandon since 1976.
MY EDUCATION: I graduated from Greenwich High School went on to earn an Associates Degree, graduating on the President’s List, Cum Laude from Green Mountain College.
I received my BA from Johnson State College in Early Childhood Professional Studies,
I have a Psichomotricita Prevention Educators International Certificate from Reggio Emilia, Italy and have most recently received a Master Gardener Certification from the University of Vermont in 2010.
MY CAREER: I worked until 1998 as the sole proprietor of Live and learn Preschool in Brandon, Vermont. I went on to open a psichomotricitic body studio in Brandon called SMART MOVES. I began working at Mary Johnson Children Center in 2015 prior to taking a position at Mary Hogan. I was an ELF (environmental education) educator at Neshobe School from the late 90s to the mid 200s.
OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL: My favorite hobbies are cooking, gardening and reading. I love to move my body and get out into nature. I strive to be active every day running, walking, Nordic skiing biking, snowshoeing or hiking. I love to experience the beautiful world we live in.
MY FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL WAS: PE!
