B.S. Elementary/Special Education M.S. Education Leadership
My name is Elizabeth Foster, but I go by Lili. I grew up in Shelburne, Vermont. After graduating from University of Vermont with a degree in Elementary and Special Education, I moved to California. While living in California, I taught 4-6 grade at Mira Vista School in Richmond. My husband and I returned to Vermont in 1991, to raise our family. I have two sons who graduated from Middlebury Union High School. This is my 26th year teaching at Salisbury Community School. In ACSU, I have been very involved in Math Leadership. In 2005, I earned a Master's Degree in Education Leadership. I have piloted and helped third grade teachers implement the new Bridges 2.0 math program. In addition, I have work as a Bridges 2.0 trainer for the Math Learning Center. I am currently working on my National Board Certification in Literacy: Reading-Language Arts. In my free time I like to play tennis, bike, run and spend time outdoors with my family.
