My goal is to help all students find books that they enjoy reading! I always encourage students to recommend books that should be purchased for our school.   My favorite genres to read are realistic fiction and historical fiction!  

I try to always find new ways to make the library an exciting place to visit in our school.  Students can spend time in the library with create, make, learn activities.  

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:

MY HOMETOWN: I grew up in Vermont.

MY EDUCATION: I received my undergraduate degree at Saint Michaels College in Colchester and my Master’s at Southern New Hampshire University in Hooksett, NH.

MY CAREER: I taught fifth and sixth grade for eight years prior to becoming a Librarian and Media Specialist.

OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL:   I love spending time with my family and friends and playing games.  I am a native Vermonter and really enjoy spending time outside in our beautiful state.  I enjoy reading, traveling, camping, swimming, running, biking, kayaking, hiking, playing tennis, skiing, sledding, and snowshoeing. An interesting fact about me is that I do most of my reading while exercising! I don't like to sit still!!
