Requesting New Translation Process:
1) Has this already been translated? Check the whole list of translated documents below and print/modify for your own use. For report cards, see Teacher Resources Page.
2) Can this information be communicated in another way? (Language Line phone call or translated Google Meet for conferences, student-centered meetings, emergent concerns; Talking Points text for short updates, schedule notices, and brief individualized text conversations and inquiries; School Messenger for whole school announcements like closings and delays; or Google Translate only with ELL teacher permission.
3) Does it have identifying student information in it? In no, proceed to Jot Form directions. If yes, contact your building ELL teacher.
Note: We kept the language in these notices general to be useful across multiple contexts. Please feel free to copy and paste language from these notices and forms for use as needed in your school.
**Any documents or mailings that are going out to all community members and have not been translated should include this multilingual translation / interpretation notice that will allow parents to access interpretation or translation at no cost to themselves. (Note: This notice does not need to be reproduced for every family. Use school-based PALs lists to determine need and only copy the language you need.)
